The Nick McDonald Band was formed in August 2005. Based in Nottingham, they are one of the hottest new acts around town and play most of the venues, clubs and bars. Their sound is best described as funky, entirely original songs written by vocalist & keyboard player Nick McDonald.

Although there are five core members, a host of talented local musicians and vocalists frequently guest with the band - many of which can be heard on the debut album 'Stand In Line'

The emphasis is on spontaneity & playing. Arrangements are fluid and rehearsals are optional extras which makes the live set even more exciting.
